Branch Coordinator, Europe Direct EMT

Irakleia Gkatzini is a Political Scientist and recipient of the Fellowship of State Scholarships Foundation/ IKY- Greece for excellence to graduates of Higher Education. She is a branch coordinator of Europe Direct Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and the person in charge of communication, events, actions as well as being responsible for the research of EU Programmes. She has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Greece and the Greek Embassy in Slovakia. Last but not least, she is the President of the Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Politics Society Komotini” of the Department of Political Science, DUTH, in addition to her role as Press representative of the Municipal Youth Council of Komotini.
